Tropical Paradise
Feb. 24th, 2004 04:52 pmI have like 5 minutes here - so will only say one thing: it's been rainning since I got here. All day, every single day.
Enough said?
Gets worse - 4 tv channels and none of them cable. Except CNN - so I got to see Mr. Bush and hear him speak.
I don't care what generation he hails from, I don't care if he's a cool guy loved by his friends and who has the best of intentions. His lack of capacity to see all citizens he was elected to serve as, well, citizens - scary. He is basically telling gays that they are deffective and therefore, do not deserve their rights. But then Mr. Bush's administration is big on the taking rights away from unsuspecting citizens who are too busy feeling all smug because they got a Republican back in the White House. Unfortunately the majority of people who actually voted to NOT get another Bush into the WH are suffering right along with them.
I will shut up and go back to contemplating the beach under the rain.
Oh, they are still looking for the WMD. Even the CNN anchor couldn't help himself and chuckled.
Take care and somebody kidnap Nader. If he helps sink the Democrat's hopes again - I will personally put a hex-curse-spell-evil eye on him. Screw the rule of 3.
Okay - I have to go now. Just wanted to say hello and hear that humming from a pc again. I missed it so much.
