What does it mean when you have people who are paid to analyse terrorism saying that a nuclear terrorist attack to the USA is "inevitable"?
I have a tendency to dislike alarmists of the sky is falling variety, but at the same time nobody wants anything remotely like a nuclear attack to happen (or any other sort). *sigh*

It just strikes me as odd that muslim fundamentalists would have a problem with the USA at this point - the two are getting more and more alike with their religious zealots and condemnation of anything that doesn't align with their way of thinking.

Yes, I know. Not everybody thinks like that in the USA. Still, the administration in place will stay in place for another 4 years and it does represent a turn to the sort of you're going to hell if you don't do as I say bullshit. I just hope the man, even if he can't say nuclear, is really the great leader capable of protecting the country he claims to be.

Yesterday or today (depending on time zones) was World Aids Day. I did a little thing about the Hooper theory and Bill Hamilton's position on it, plus this year's obligatory focus on women (married women here are among the fastest growing group) for a local thing. Nothing major, but I did the research and had to read some pretty harsh things.

I'll spare you the numbers, how out of control it all is and how it's believed that polio vaccines originated the whole bloody mess. Instead I'll give you a couple of links to click. If you can find the time/money/heart to do more, please do. Now, without leaving your seat, you can do the help with one click thing and/or get more information about AIDS on the other site.
