Maybe I should be doing more interesting things with my time this Friday night, but am not. It could be the pain or maybe it's the heat - I'm content to sit here at home and do nothing. I did turn on the television, ljs, and there it was - Notting Hill. Since it was a few minutes away from the scene you had mentioned, I waited for it in honour of the coincidence. Still lovely. Still touching. That scene gives deeper meaning to being swept off your feet and beats the Julia/Hugh thing in depth and width.

Television got boring pretty soon though. I think I'll just go and, take a wild guess... yes! read something. Lately I've been drawn to books that unsettle me. I deserve a cookie for still liking to be unsettled at my old age. Except I'm not allowed cookies. Unagui sushi would do.
