On the Road Again.

Dr. House is winning the >poll< at TV Guide Online as sexiest doctor on TV (70% of the votes). I found myself pleased. Then horrified I'd feel anything about it at all.
I bet Mr. Laurie didn't expect to be a sex symbol at this point in his life. I get to say I've always known - from way back when. Okay, maybe
ljs was also aware of the fact - she's a perceptive lady with impeccable taste.
I was going to write one of those introspective things about fandom and such, but I have an impending migraine. Those are really getting worse. Same goes for the photophobia. It's gotten to the point I wear my sunglasses everywhere - even at night. I feel a bit silly sporting sunglasses indoors, but any light really hurts my eyes. Yes, I have them on now and yes, I should get it checked - but the thought of any voluntary contact with doctors at this point makes me shudder. The explanation being given to people who aren't us is: vampirical ascendancy. I kid you not.
Anyway... House is winning and I'm 12 again.

Date: 2005-04-01 08:19 pm (UTC)Sorry to hear the migraines are getting worse. Take care of yourself.
Is there a doctor in the house?
Date: 2005-04-03 12:26 pm (UTC)Good news is - there's yet another doctor - Dr. Who.
I had not realised until now how medically inclined I have become in my fancies... Dr. House, Dr. Hill, Dr. Who. I'll be chasing ambulances soon.

Date: 2005-04-01 09:44 pm (UTC)Hee. You'd make one sexy vampire, darling.
I do hope the migraines recede, though.
Fangs!
Date: 2005-04-03 12:21 pm (UTC)All those smoking daylight forays Spike made outside make sense to me now - he just wanted to feel a little more human.

Date: 2005-04-02 03:15 am (UTC)So sorry about the migraine, Chen -- but I bet the glasses are cool!
And yes, I always thought Hugh Laurie was rather stunnin'. There are a few moments in A Bit of Fry and Laurie, for instance, where a woman can only point and sigh! ;-) (And since he dated Emma Thompson in college, there's another smart woman on the list!)
[hugs you hard]
House in da house!
Date: 2005-04-03 12:08 pm (UTC)I managed to see the last episode and am dutifully hating Chase, Mary Sue-ing Cameron and loving Foreman. I don't know what the Big Bad Wolf is doing in the show though - he's too 2D for my taste.

P.S. Am in the process of looking for old episodes. The first 2005 episode made an instant fan out of me!
