[livejournal.com profile] ljs - I was just handed your present. It was opened and I'm guessing one of the cubs did it. Either that or I was too medicated and forgot (which is what the usual suspect is telling me). Either way - thank you so very much and sorry if 1) I've thanked you before 2) I took so long. It means so much to me that you took the time to make and send me these and the thought alone makes it precious.

[livejournal.com profile] paratti - I need to get a ticket and fly there, don't I? It's not a fib. I did indeed mail 2 parcels at this time. This sucks.

[livejournal.com profile] redeem147 - I can't find the file with the original drawing. I'll start it again because the photo I used as a model I can find (we all bow to the almighty internet). I'm telling you - it's punishment for not using the grid and winging it. I know it.

I've now watched the second episode of Dr. Who (lovely icon) and am quite pleased. I'm a total ignoramus when it comes to all things Who, but I'm sure somebody will eventually come to the rescue with information *attempts to do the hard to resist puppy eyes* since I'm a new fan and all... Unfortunately I'm one of those horrid people and as I was watching the episode all I could think of was: one season and he's gone. Fine, I also wondered how did he managed to go about 1860 in a leather jacket and if 'ships are done in the Who universe or if they are just a waste of time (ha.) and I also asked myself if ostrich eggs are as vile to eat as people say they are. But the one season thing was the thought that stuck around the longest.

Anyway - I hope you have all survived Monday. Mine was a mastiff bitch with rabies. I had hoped for a Chihuahua.

Even Mastiff bitches hold some redeeming qualities :) and yes - I was glad it arrived because not only is it sweeter than summer breezes, but the songs are great. Thank you again.

(((Hugs))) you.

The post seems out to get us.

Thanks for trying.

Aims the reducing ray at the mastiff. I hope things get better soon, pet.

You know this is a matter of honour now. I'll figure something out.

Talking to a friend in France she mentioned how coffee is used to throw off the coke sniffing dogs - you don't think? I mean... this isn't Colombia and coke through the mail?! 1) N/A and 2)Who would be that stupid?

You know, the moment that we give up hope, it'll arive.

::practices sympathetic magic::

It could well be the dogs. They could have a massive caffeine habit to go with the coke.

Regarding Who - you can ship, but you won't see it on screen. The Doctor seems to wear what he wears in a variety of time periods, with narry an eyebrow raised (though the Fourth Doctor looked very Sherlock Holmsely in The Talons of Weng Chiang).

Sorry your Monday was crap. I was home sick, but I'm going to try and go in today, since my fever's gone down.

You'll be surprised at the amount of knowledge a girl can accumulate in one night of Doctor searching. Pretty soon I'll be able to tell all the doctors apart.

gah. typos scare me~

Here is a quick visual key:

1. White hair and grumpy.
2. Beatles haircut, recorder.
3. White hair and slightly insane. Karate chops.
4. Teeth and hair and scarf.
5. Celery, and a bit dishy.
6. You will be blinded by the costume.
7. Straw hat, Scottish accent, jumper with question marks.
8. Very romantic costume--sort of Regency-ish, with Byron-y hair. Also quite dishy.
9. Leather jacket, close cropped hair, manic grin.

As for shipping, yes. I've only been active in the ficcy part of the fandom for a week, but have friends who did 'zines ages and ages ago. The Fifth Doctor gets rather a lot of nookie in fiction (het and slash) on account of being the youngest looking. Not sure about all the others, tho.
