The Three Princes of Serendip pay a visit

Wonderful serendipity.
I just found a bag full of books. I've been procrastinating doing the skeleton for an article (and no, it's nothing to get thrilled about) and looking for a decent enough excuse to do so, decided to go into the new office and work on my new table (yes, I built it). I was looking for my sandpaper folder when I came across the bag. The cool thing is that in it I found the fancy The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Will Eisner's Fagin, among other delectable delicacies (A book on 20th century tattoos, Wilde's Dorian Gray and a replacement for my torn Il Gattopardo [The Leopard]. Please, consider giving The Leopard a try, even though some of its beauty is lost in translation, it's still breathtaking.)
So I have an even better excuse to do no work at all, instead I'm sitting here at my desk, giggling with Dent and answering mail, while taking sips from my cola and munching on pistachio nuts.
And in one of those (what I hope is) coincidences, they are showing The Perfect Storm on the movie channel down here. I'll know for sure if Twister is next.
