Oscars!

Today it's Oscars night and totally psyched for it! I have to say – I'm not in the least bit ashamed of how excited I am! I haven't missed one since I was a kid and hopefully will continue to watch them. It appeals to the shallow in me, it appeals to the buried part of me that believes in magic. I let it all surface at this time of the year. The dresses and the movies make me sigh. The ridiculously beautiful people also make me sigh – although in a tad different manner... I have had Oscars parties, I have watched them all by myself with headphones so my parents wouldn't find out I was still awake. This year, like last year, I plan on being in a nice little chatroom with the Troika people. The best of two worlds – party and pajamas. I even went out and bought myself a new gold one.
The wine is ready. The low cal snacks are ready and so am I. Countdown has started. Two hours to go!

P.S. Nicole Kidman winning by a nose is the cheesiest joke ever!

I'm sorry I missed the chat this year, but I had carpet cleaners coming today and I spent the night moving all of my furniture off the rugs. You should see my kitchen, bathroom and porch! I caught part of it when I was moving around (Had to catch the dresses, of course!) So who do you think was best dressed? I loved Diane Lane's and Nicole Kidman's outfits.
