SQUEEEE! Oh my YES! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! That is wonderful news and just an *excellent* interview. (I think I wanna marry that guy!) Ron Perlman, your legacy is assured, they won't be carving "Was in Beauty & the Beast (Wasn't the Beauty)" on your tombstone!

I just hope the wave of comic-movies doesn't play out before the sequel(s) gets released. Why won't Hollywood ever listen to us out here who know good source material when we see it?

I can see where Abe Sapien is a problem. I loved Hyde-Pierce's looping, spoton delivery and the looping kinda gave Abe a nice inhuman quality, but you wanna give a fair shot to the guy who actually, y'know, got the job.

I love him saying Mimic is the worst of his movies - coz I've seen Mimic and it ain't all that bad! I'd'a given the nod to Blade II just coz it's so dark and murky - necessarily so, but compare & contrast with all the lovely bright primary colors in Hellboy. (Oh joy, I just clicked on page 2 - Blade Trinity is even *darker*, yaaaay....)

Liz's fake boobs - correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a week since I watched it, but doesn't Liz spend the entire frickin' movie bundled up in sweaters, coats and puffy down jackets? Why bother?
